ENVEA (FR0010278762 – ALTEV), the European leader in monitoring solutions for industries and the environment, announces today the installation of a complete autonomous station – a world first – as well as the signature of a cooperation protocol of  with AtmoSud.

After years of research and development, ENVEA, very invested in ecodesign, is successfully launching a new series of criteria gas and particulates monitors, offering
very low energy consumption, insensitive to temperature variations and 24V power supplies. These innovations allow to get rid of air conditioning systems in AQMS stations located in hot areas such as the Mediterranean countries, the Middle East or Southeast Asia.
For the first time in the world, a complete standalone  monitoring station will be able to be installed in isolated site, working 24h / 24 and 7j / 7 being supplied only by solar panels. This innovation is major for air pollution monitoring networks for many sites and countries, where power grids are often unavailable, unstable or very random with frequent power outages. The first experimental stations are installed in Poissy at the ENVEA headquarters, as well as in the heart of Marseille (a port city in southern France) to continue the joint research work with AtmoSud, one of the French Approved Air Quality Monitoring Association (AASQA – Associations Agréées de Surveillance de la qualité de l’air).

This cooperation agreement also applies to portable micro-sensors, as well as mercury, VOCs and fine particulates monitoring, within the frame of the maritime pollution research and studies.

As part of their joint research work, ENVEA and AtmoSud, the approved association for Air Quality Monitoring in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region, have signed a cooperation protocol. A true partnership, it will pool ENVEA’s innovation capability and AtmoSud’s Mediterranean field expertise.
Francois Gourdon, President and Founder of ENVEA, welcomes these important innovations and the signing of this protocol with Pierre-Charles Maria, President of AtmoSud and adds:
“ENVEA continues its strong global growth with remarkable orders recorded since the beginning of the year: air quality monitoring networks in Colombia, the renewal of the ozone monitors of the Canadian national surveillance network, mercury emission monitors in India… The year 2018 has ended in line with our expectations with a confirmed turnover of more than € 90 million “.
