ICAD (Industrial City of Abu Dhabi) is the largest industrial area of the Emirates (24 sqkm). In view of the potential future development of industrial and commercial activities in this area, and to meet the regulatory requirements of the Environment Agency (EAD/ERWDA), ICAD has decided to establish a comprehensive Air Quality Monitoring System Network covering ICAD and Al-Ain Industrial Areas.

This network will be supplied by Environnement S.A and local partner Envirozone to ZonesCorp, a government-backed corporation for specialized economic zones, directly responsible for the establishment, management and operation of ICAD.

The initial network will comprise 4 fixed monitoring stations and a mobile laboratory.
