As well as providing real time reports and data handling, the purpose of data acquisition and reporting software is to provide adherence to legislative compliance. It also ensures that the CEMS equipment is running at its fullest capabilities, eliminating the risk of excess emissions. WEX™ collects and processes environmental data for display, management and reporting purposes and has been designed to meet the requirements of EN14181 and MCERTs certified Environmental Data Management Software requirements for Environmental and Continuous Emissions Monitoring reporting systems.
With the acquisition of Mercury Instruments GmbH, the market leader in mercury analysis systems based in Germany, the ENVEA Group now offers the widest range of mercury measurement systems in the world, be it for gases, liquids or solids monitoring applications.
This field will become crucial in the coming years with, on the one hand, stringent measurement requirements for mercury emitters in their industrial emissions (Minamata convention applicable from 2020) and, on the other hand, two European directives for thermal power plants and incinerators. With more than 20 years of experience as a bespoke solutions provider in various applications, Mercury Instruments has developed the first mercury emission monitoring system using the dry thermos-catalytic method to avoid the use of chemical reagents and thus optimize operation costs and measurement availability. For total mercury emission monitoring applications, the SM-3 and SM-4 product line has been specifically developed for total mercury emission monitoring applications in order to measure very low levels of mercury in flue gases within complex matrices (SO2, NOx, HCl…) with high accuracy and reliability. They are perfectly adapted for both process and emissions applications.
Mercury Tracker 3000 is the most suitable solution to continuously monitor mercury levels in the air and locate mercury-related leaks and contaminations (e.g. natural gas industry). Thanks to its low weight (about 5 kg), running at least 7 hours on rechargeable batteries, its ease of operation and its wide measuring range (0.1 μg / m³ to 2,000 μg / m³), it brings a significant contribution to the protection of the environment and the safety at the workplace.
